what does it say on the sign? i can't make it out....but i'm sure it's pretty funny.
It's the Ojibway word for "stop" written in their syllabics.
it should be written that way in the first place.
Ojibway really is a second language up here. There was an Ojibway contest last year. Kids won prizes if they could say ten words in Ojibway. Most of the kids were unable to think of ten words that they knew. This is despite the fact that they get Ojibway lessons every day.
Haha. I didn't know about that contest but it dosen't surprise me. Maybe they should have held a colouring contest, (you know what i mean).
